Friends since their youngest childhood and curious about musical legends of Ibiza, they decide in 1999 to make their pilgrimage on the techno island. Marked by the before parties and the powerfull evenings, they are made the promise around a glass in Café del Mar to take up one day their duet.

2007 saw the first artistic meeting between Désirée Paris and Lady Jo and a first dub track entitled “Affirmatif”. In 2011 Soulmate is born in tribute to their friendship with the realization of three titles; Moom Bow, Moon Ray and The Meeting on Inkfish Recordings. I met a guy online around 6 weeks ago. The first date was out to a mexican restaurant and then we walked at the park. The Latin word Gratia has a wide range of meanings, which is hard to capture in one single English word. This is due to the fact that Gratia is a two-way word, which can define both your relationship to others, while also the relationship they have to you. This reciprocal relationship embodied in the word gratia helps to expose the deep logic of today’s proverb — and also the impossibility of translating it.

Many words has derived from Gratia. Grace, Gracious, Grateful, Gratitude, maybe even Ingrate. Even so, all these words together do not manage to cover the full definition of Gratia, so we wrote a song about it instead, and see if that helps. And after reading this presentation you should be able to grasp why we choose a chalk as font for the text on the cover. School’s out.
